Coach Registration

Are you passionate about Cheyenne Capitals hockey? Want to share the game with the next generation? Excited to help develop players at all levels? We're looking for volunteer coaches to join our youth hockey program.

No requirement to have a player in the CCYHA program, we are looking for passionate individuals with hockey experience who can help our players grow on and off the ice. Coaches are instrumental in developing players' skills, sportsmanship, and love of the game.

Please note that our teams travel throughout either Wyoming or Northern Colorado and Southeastern Wyoming (depending on level) and coaches must be willing to travel with the team. While we utilize practice-only coaches (especially at the younger levels) we need to know your willingness to travel at the beginning of the season and the application includes a question regarding this.

1. Register with USA Hockey and complete the CCYHA online registration by clicking the link on this page.

2. Complete background screening.

3. Complete SafeSport training.

4. Complete USA Hockey coaching level certification.
