Cheyenne Capitals Youth Hockey Association

Mission

Our Association seeks to provide a community based and volunteer-driven program to promote the growth and development of our players. Our Association works to promote a fun, fair, and safe environment that maximizes participation and improves players' skills while developing sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-confidence.

VOLUNTEERS

Like any youth organization a successful season at CCYHA depends heavily on its volunteers. Each team must staff several volunteer positions. All parents and guardians of CCYHA players will be expected to volunteer throughout the season. There are several opportunities to volunteer throughout the season. Each team will have volunteer team manager(s) and coaches.

The team manager is a key volunteer and each manager receives assistance from CCYHA as well as a guide to help them through the duties they need to perform.  Each head coach will determine a team manager at the beginning of the year and will work with the team manager closely throughout the season.  The manager is responsible for much of the administrative duties for a team.

For each home game the team must provide a person to do scoring keeping ( point streak ), run the game clock and work the penalty box for their team.

In addition to game time volunteers, all members of CCYHA are volunteers - Board Members, Coaches, and Team Mangers.

Go Capitals!!
